# LENS: Malaysian Market Intelligence

LENS / MARKET INTELLIGENCE FOR MALAYSIA

# Understand your market. Know what to do next.

LENS is how I bring marketing data and local research together to answer a practical question: what should your business do next? I look at what people search for, how your campaigns perform and what happens after they click.

A clearer view of what is happening, what needs checking and where to focus.

01 / HOW LENS WORKS

## Start with the question, not another report.

More website visits do not explain why enquiries have slowed. Strong results in one location do not tell you what will work in another. LENS brings the relevant information together so we can investigate the question properly. A pattern can point us towards a useful question; it does not prove what caused it.

01 / FIND THE SIGNAL

### Find the signal
Look at the available searches, website activity, campaign results and enquiries. Identify what changed and check that the comparison is fair.

02 / ADD LOCAL CONTEXT

### Add local context
Consider the locations you serve, the language customers use, seasonal demand and the offer they actually see.

03 / CHECK THE EXPLANATION

### Check the explanation
Compare possible reasons for the pattern. Separate what the data shows from what still needs testing.

04 / CHOOSE THE NEXT STEP

### Choose the next step
Agree on a practical change, why it is worth trying and how we will judge it.

The sources used depend on your business, available access and data quality.

02 / EXPLORE A QUESTION

## What are you trying to figure out?

Choose a question to see how LENS could approach it.

i**Illustrative examples.** Not live business data or client results.

Choose a business question

More visits, fewer enquiries
Which location needs attention?
What should I publish next?

### What we can see
Website visits are increasing, but enquiries are not keeping pace.

### What to check
Check whether the extra visits match the offer, whether the mobile page makes contact easy and whether enquiry tracking is working.

### A next step to test
Fix any tracking or contact-path issues first. Then test a clearer offer on the relevant page and compare enquiry rate and enquiry quality.

### What we can see
Some locations attract more attention than others.

### What to check
Compare local demand, service coverage, search visibility, review information and enquiries using a consistent period and definition.

### A next step to test
Choose one location with a clear gap. Improve its information or local page, then check whether relevant enquiries change.

### What we can see
Several searches ask a similar practical question.

### What to check
Check what searchers need, what the website already covers and whether the question is relevant to the business.

### A next step to test
Create or improve one useful page. Link it to the relevant service and track whether it brings suitable visitors and enquiries.

Try another question.

03 / WHAT THE WORK PRODUCES

## Findings you can use. Priorities you can explain.

The aim is to leave with a practical answer, not another report to interpret. The work can help make the evidence and the remaining questions easier to discuss with the people responsible for acting on them.

01 / A CLEAR FINDING

### What changed
Which sources support it, and what remains uncertain.

02 / A FOCUSED PRIORITY

### What to address first
Why it matters and what depends on it.

03 / A TESTABLE NEXT STEP

### What to change
Which result to review afterwards.

04 / WHERE AI FITS

## AI can assist the work. It does not replace the judgement.

LENS is the approach, not a new AI model. AI can help organise information, compare material and draft summaries. I check the sources, consider your business context and decide what is worth investigating or testing.

Your goals, the quality of the data and the questions we ask still matter.

05 / PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

## A few things you might be wondering.

What is LENS?LENS is my approach to combining marketing data and local research to help a business decide what to investigate, improve or test next.

Is LENS software I need to install?LENS is presented here as a way of working with me, not a self-service app. The tools and sources depend on the question and the available data.

What information can we start with?Relevant information may include website analytics, search data, campaign reports and enquiry records. We start with the question, then agree on what is needed and what can be shared safely.

Do I need perfect tracking? No, but missing or unreliable data affects what we can conclude. Identifying those gaps may be the first useful step.

Does LENS guarantee better results? No. It helps us make informed decisions and choose sensible tests. Results depend on factors including the offer, market conditions and implementation.

06 / START WITH A QUESTION

## What would you like a clearer answer to?

Tell me what your business does, what you are seeing and what you are trying to decide. We can start with the question that matters most.
